Here are some quotes that came in an email that I’m sure was sent to make me smile. Okay … I did smile once or twice. Smile … grimace … comme si / comme ca and mox nix (same/same).

As you get older three things happen. The first is your memory goes, and I can’t remember the other two…

Sandra, you are fifty-five years young! Remember, in ten years you will look back and wonder why you complained about 55!
    Loved the quotes….

  2. You are so right! I once heard someone quoting their septuagenarian father saying something like, “I wish I hadn’t wasted time feeling old when I was 50 and 60″, and that made so much sense to me.

I suppose that’s why the George Burns and Claud Pepper quote appeal. They both almost made a century, and were happy and feisty the whole time.

  3. AH, you are my inspiration Sandra for still being able to adopt again as I get older….. So – Enjoy your age.. (the alternative isn’t good)….

Thanks Sandra – for the great quotes. I think I’ll take them to my FIL’s 90th birthday party next week and get his perspective!

    Happy B-Day, you young thing!

Belated Happy Birthday, Sandra! Here’s something to make you smile – you’re still younger than I am!
