Michelle, you crack me up, girl. i swear you do. i really enjoy reading your stuff. i can usually count on a good chuckle and/or something that will make me think. doesn't get much better than that.

the sizes now days are a joke. i have a true size 8 leather skirt that looked so good on me back when i could wear the thing (i have saved it for years because i swear one day i will wear it again...kinda like Scarlet O'Hara holding up the rutabega at the end of ACT I of Gone With the Wind, except I'd be holding up a size 8 leather skirt..but as usual...i digress) i have some other current day size eights that i can no longer wear (argh!) and they look like a tent compared to my true size 8 leather skirt. soooo...the size TEN that i am presently wearing is probably more like a size TWELVE or even FOURTEEN from back in the day. oh gawd, i think i better go lie down now. oh, i forgot. good news. i've dropped two pounds. i didn't gain any weight over the Thanksgiving holiday. and that was a major accomplishment. and then i weighed myself this morning and was down two pounds. YAY!
Im a size 10 and the smallest one out of my family and was always considered petite.... so I kinda always thought of myself as tiny... then I had to buy a size 14 wedding dress and have it altered. I carry my weight in my tummy..i have a wider waist but no thigh or butt issues.
