Who says you can’t teach an older babe (that would be moi) new tricks? I have just finished setting the drip function (I think) for one of my other blogs to rerun some old posts for the upcoming week because I am going to be out of town. I tried to do that once before and made a royal mess out of it. But, I think I’ve done it correctly this time.
We are getting an early start on the Thanksgiving holiday and striking out early in the morning for a twelve hour sojourn to Atlanta. The last time I was away I came back and read Michelle’s funny post about not being Superwoman and running out of time for blogging. While her post was humorous it made me stop and think how casually I informed our readers that I would be away and not to expect to hear from me until I returned.
Probably not a good move. In fact, a pretty tacky move. I apologize to our readers and to both of my co-bloggers. That will not happen again. I hardly ever make the same faux pas twice. I am extremely adept at coming up with new ones with very little effort.
My rambling point (I’m sorry I’m tired. You know how it is when you’re preparing for a big out of town trip) is that for me vacationing and blogging just don’t mix so I am just not going to put myself in a position to fail miserably by making a promise I know I will not keep. Hence, I am going to set the drip function to rerun some of my old posts. Some of it will be new for those of you who missed them the first time around. Even if you’ve read them before you might get something new out of them. Enjoy.
Have a very happy Thanksgiving everyone.
