Weight off check in #3

My weight check on very mean scaleIt’s Thursday today.

I considered moving the round dial on my scale counter clockwise before I took this phototo to make it look like I lost weight this week.

I decided to cut all my hair off instead.

And I then thought better of it.

I joined Weight Loss Buddies for free this week and got a small team of people where we all support each other.

I got an email from one team member about Halloween Candy; How should we handle the candy issue and so forth?

I guess I was feeling a bit sarcastic this morning:

Hah! Skinny people don't eat candy.

Plain and simple.

I eat candy.

Enough said.

Blah.

I've managed to work out a lot this week, and only eat one package of Newman-O’s Mint Crème Filled Chocolate cookies, three cream cheese filled chocolate brownies, a few lattes and one Lindt Chocolate bar.

Not bad for a week eh?

I've also eaten some apples and healthy stuff too.

Did I mention I was on the road for a few days? Don't the dieting rules go out the window when you are traveling? We need road food after all!

Now, don’t take my 0 weight loss to mean I’m discouraged. Not at all. I know that I just need to continue on my baby step program and work out everyday (treadmill, elliptical, a few machines occasionally), and work on eating better.

If you need more motivation than I’m bringing to you (HAH) then go to Weight Loss Buddies, sign in, and ask to join team Pikes Peak. (Its free!) Maybe one of my other team members will being doing better than I will keep us all going this week.

There are lots of tools and ideas and such and you can always pay a bit extra for more stuff on their site if you wish.

How’d you do this week?

P.S. I didn't eat ONE Malted Milk Ball! Does that count for something?

What's going on?

oh, i swear i am so frustrated right about now. i lost one lousy pound this week. and that is probably a fluke. i thought for sure that all of my excitement getting ready for my NYC trip and then more running around after i got there would have been good for at least three pounds. but, noooooo. i'm one pound down. and this despite the fact that i have really been trying to increase my activity level, by walking during the afternoon before the kids get home, as well as in the evening for my regular interval of alone time. and still, just one pound??? oh well, i try again this week and see what happens. even one pound a week would add up to a rather nice weight loss over a couple of months. so, at the very least i'll shoot to lose another pound next week!
